Salesforce Lead Engineer con expertise en CPQ -  Contractor, full time (8 AM – 5 PM (EST)
We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background. Our client expects candidates with extensive experience as developers and/or architects, ideally within the Salesforce ecosystem.

This role will focus 75% on programming and the remainder on leadership-related tasks.

The selected candidate will be expected to design and lead complex implementations, requiring experience in:
• Salesforce technical architecture
• Development with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
• Integration with REST/SOAP APIs
• Process automation

Basic qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience developing Salesforce customizations (Apex, Visualforce), integrations, and executing data migrations.
  • 3+ years of experience designing technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.
  • 2+ years of experience in enterprise software implementation across the full project lifecycle.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 8 years).
  • Proven ability to architect solutions independently and design software on the Force.com platform with hands-on involvement in large-scale implementations.
  • Strong technical foundation, including:
    • Advanced structured programming (Apex, Force.com, .NET, Java, etc.).
    • Understanding of RDMS concepts, SQL, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and EAI processes.
    • Experience with structured system analysis and design methods.
  • Extensive expertise in the Force.com platform, including Apex, triggers, batch Apex, and Visualforce.
  • Knowledge of advanced Visualforce components, including custom REST/SOAP APIs and integration methods such as Event-Driven Architecture or Bulk API.
  • Experience customizing user experience using Lightning Web Components, Aura, or similar JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React).
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment and design workflow rules for business process automation.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce limitations and ability to explain them in simple terms.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices and the ability to mentor others.
  • Leadership and management experience leading development teams (3+ years) with a proven track record in large Salesforce implementations.
    • Ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical mindset.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salesforce Certifications:
  • At least two Salesforce Developer Certifications.
  • One or more of the following: Admin, Platform App Builder, Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect, or equivalent experience.
  • Additional certifications are a plus.
     
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions, including strategy, system design, implementation, and management.
  • Consulting experience with medium to large firms in cloud computing-related consulting (e.g., SaaS, multi-tenant computing, large-scale computing environments).
  • Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies.
  • Strong customer service mindset and work ethic.
  • Experience in executive-level consulting and sales support within professional services.

• Modality: Contractor (full-time)
• Location: 100% remote from LATAM
• Time zone: Eastern Standard Time (EST) - work 8 a.m./5 p.m. EST
• Client: Leading multinational medical device manufacturer

Key Requirements:
• Fluent in English (C1 level or higher), with excellent communication skills
• Availability for occasional travel to the U.S.
