Senior SAP SD Functional Analyst (excellent english) - full time, Remote (LATAM)

This role involves acting as a designer and liaison, assisting various team members by understanding business processes and requirements thoroughly enough to design and implement suitable SAP functional solutions. It includes utilizing subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings.

You will have a deep understanding of the required SAP modules, business processes, configuration requirements, and integration with other modules. This includes gathering requirements, designing, and rolling out solutions to end users.

Responsibilities: 

• Organize and lead workshops to gather and validate business requirements.
• Perform configuration, functional documentation, testing plans, execute testing, track results, system documentation, and produce training materials.
• Suggest relevant new SAP functionality to the business, involving reviewing business processes and system integration challenges.
• Conduct Fit/Gap analysis to determine areas of configuration that can be leveraged.
• Participate in proof-of-concept analyses and prototypes to ensure proposed designs can meet business requirements.
• Ensure systems design and development satisfy all the needs of the end-users by developing/reviewing test plans and test scripts.
• Act as an evangelist for SAP benefits across the organization; promote SAP knowledge and usage.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
• Prepare project-related documentation (object designs, business rules, technical information, etc.) during all project stages.
• Design and deliver end-user training and training materials; provide functional support as necessary.
• Lead, manage, and deliver all assigned projects and support activities on behalf of the SAP Team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 10 to 12 years of functional configuration experience in SD within SAP ECC.
• SAP configuration skills within specific SAP modules or applications - SD and LE (Shipping).
• Knowledge of Integration with MM/LE and FI. Knowledge of CRM integration is a plus.
• Able to map business requirements to configuration in the system.
• Configuration of OTC process – Sales orders and its components, Pricing, Delivery, Customer master, Billing, serial number, Handling Units.
• Configuration knowledge of special processes like third-party processing, make-to-order, and intercompany.  Experience in multiple SAP implementations preferred (at least 2 successful, full life cycle implementations required).
• Basic understanding of ABAP programming, IDOCs, Enhancements, Interfaces, and User exits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• SAP certification in SD is a plus.
• Willingness to work in shifts, as needed.
