
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Lead Engineer to drive large-scale Salesforce implementations from design to deployment. This role requires deep technical expertise, architectural vision, hands-on development experience, and proven leadership.
Experience
5+ years developing Salesforce customizations (Apex, Visualforce), integrations, and executing data migrations.
3+ years designing technical architectures for complex Salesforce implementations.
2+ years leading full lifecycle enterprise software projects.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 8 years in the field).
Proven experience independently architecting solutions and designing applications on the Force.com platform with hands-on participation in large-scale implementations.
Advanced programming skills: Apex, Force.com, .NET, Java.
Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, SQL, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, EAI processes, and structured system analysis and design methods.
Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform: Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, Bulk API, and other integration frameworks.
Hands-on experience customizing user experience with LWC, Aura, or modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React).
Experience working in Agile environments and designing workflow rules to automate business processes.
Clear understanding of Salesforce platform limitations and ability to explain them in simple terms.
Ability to coach teams on Salesforce best practices.
Minimum 3 years leading Salesforce development teams with a strong record of delivering large-scale implementations.
Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and foster team-oriented environments.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with executive-level stakeholders.
English: B2+ / Upper-Intermediate or higher.
At least 2 Salesforce Developer Certifications.
At least one of the following:
Salesforce Administrator
Platform App Builder
Application Architect / System Architect / Technical Architect
Or: Equivalent experience in similar technical roles.
Additional Salesforce certifications are a strong plus.
Strong background in Cloud Computing strategy, design, implementation, and management.
Experience in consulting for medium or large organizations, ideally with cloud-based solutions (SaaS, multi-tenant computing, large-scale environments).
Familiarity with multiple implementation methodologies and industry best practices.
Strong customer-service mindset and professional work ethic.
Experience providing executive-level support in consulting or professional services environments.
Contract type: Contractor – Full Time
Work mode: Remote (LATAM)
Team base: Danvers, Massachusetts, USA
Working hours: Eastern Time (EST), typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(time difference may vary during the year and is handled flexibly)

Availability to travel to the U.S. occasionally
