We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Program Director to lead and orchestrate large-scale, complex global SAP transformation programs, specifically driving the transition from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. This leadership role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the enterprise portfolio, managing multi-million dollar budgets, cross-functional global teams, and strategic system integrators to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define, execute, and govern the overarching strategy and roadmap for enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA implementations and global rollouts.
• Own the program budget, resource allocation, and timelines, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned with financial targets.
• Manage executive-level stakeholder relationships, providing transparent reporting, risk mitigation, and strategic steering committee guidance.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers, functional leads, technical architects, and external consulting partners.
• Establish and enforce robust program governance, quality assurance frameworks, and change management strategies to ensure high adoption rates.
• Oversee vendor management and contract negotiations with SAP, system integrators, and third-party software providers.
• Drive business process re-engineering and standardization across logistics, finance, and manufacturing modules to maximize standard SAP adoption.

Technical Skills & Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP program management, with a proven track record of directing at least two global, multi-site SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation programs.
• Deep understanding of SAP implementation methodologies, specifically SAP Activate, Agile, and traditional Waterfall frameworks.
• Strong conceptual knowledge of SAP S/4HANA core architectures, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and integration strategies.
• Expertise in large-scale organizational change management (OCM) frameworks within a digital transformation context.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to influence C-level executives.
• Extensive experience managing tier-1 system integrators and complex multi-vendor ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial portfolios exceeding $10M+ USD.

Nice to Have

• SAP S/4HANA official certification or related SAP solution credentials.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
• Experience managing cloud migration programs (Rise with SAP) and standardizing SaaS integrations.
• Background in business process management (BPM) tools such as SAP Signavio.
